self inquiry & transitions

Self-inquiring and getting curious about one’s life, past, and future can bring up questions and reflections. When we observing ourself, our habits, and our behaviours and attribute them to our lives it can be helpful to have someone walk alongside us while doing so. I help folks explore their sense of self, their upbringing, and their choices to help them better understand their values, motives and ultimately their goals to live a fulfilling and meaningful life.

When going through transitions in life be it loss of job, a relationship ending, becoming a parent, moving, really anything that we transition from one state to another, often times the missing piece is to grieve what we are leaving behind. Grief is a natural and integral part of any transition and can be overlooked as an important step. Yet in order to fully be present in the next phase of our lives, grieving is what allows for space and honouring that which was to allow for that which is yet to come.

child & youth counselling

After working with children and youth in various social services settings for over a decade, I am happy to announce I am now offering one on one counselling sessions for youth. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment for children and youth to process their emotions, behaviours and life challenges. I focus on creativity, art therapy and goal setting to help youth understand their feelings and work towards positive change.
